DESERT ISLAND: survival kit

WHAT WOULD I BRING IF I WERE STRANDED IN A DESERT ISLAND? If I only had two things I would bring... 

(one): A huge blanket: reasons being that there are shifts in temperature from day time to night time. During the day the deserts can get to a high of 100F while at night the temperature can drop below 0. So the blanket will be specifically used at night. Plus I love to be warm and if at night it gets cold I would die. I can't stand to be cold.

(two): Sword: when I was thinking of the second item I was going to write knife but I was diving deep into my thoughts and was like a sword is bigger and way cooler. It will help with surviving purposes. Making it more fun to be stranded on an island. I would cut down trees to make a little hut, cut some cactuses and drink the juice from it. Also, catch my food, or protect myself from any animals.
